First impression is that there's a lot of gift shop tat - remember the expression fancy goods? BUT, maybe because they seem to buy everything at the wholesalers, there's some surprisingly good stuff also. Always worth a look when you're after a present.

ReportI love trying to shop locally in Frome for gifts and pressies and Amica is perfect for just that - I have been going into Amica since I came to Frome in 1984 and have got to know Dave and the staff quite well and they are always willing and helpful. The range of goods is fabulous and changes regularly - from handbags & accessories to china and cushions and all things in between.

This is definitely one of the best shops in town. You can spent hours wandering around all the different sections in the shop & always find something new, or interesting, or just fun! Its a great place for stocking fillers or really high quality presents - handbags & specialist ornaments are particularly good, also has Christmas decorations.
This shop has been going forever! Although it's changed quite a bit, it's still great and a favourite for shopaholics. They have a good range of things from gimmicky and token gifts to more substantial items, and there's something for everyone. They change their stock often enough that you won't end up looking over the same stuff each time.
