    great selection

We had a good meal in here weekend before last - as much as you can eat for £9.50 for Sunday lunch. The takeway meal for two we had last month was a bit steep but loads of it & good flavours - y'know the way, enough for three plus leftovers!

think I must try it though

I've been meaning to try this place out but not been yet - I imagine the view across to the church is lovely..... I think there's Thai & Malaysian food at Tong Dynasty in Frome (Wallbridge), and the Jhalmuri almost next door to Dragon Pearl does Bengali & Nepalese food.

    okay....ish

based on the other review i was hoping for more but in the end the food was average. decor was good, clean and modern, this part was grreat and made us want the food to be good. in the end we both didn't really think it was anything special. flavours were flat - whilst ingredients were undoubtedly fresh it didn't seem to hang together like an authentic chinese (except the crispy duck which was great) ....don;t get me wrong this is frome (not china town london) and this restaurant is fine but nothing to write home about.....maybe it was the real chefs night off well at least that's what i'd like to think .......if anyone knows of a great thai around here please please tell me...

    Dragon Pearl

Delicious food in lovely modern surroundings and picturesque view over the church opposite. We had Sunday lunch a la carte which costd less than £10 per head and included as much as you like from a good selection of starters, mains and a couple of desserts. Starters included the best chicken satay ever, capital ribs, vegetable spring rolls, seaweed, soups, tempura mushrooms and some other things that escape me, and the mains included szechuan beef, sweet and sour chicken, a couple of Tofu dishes, 5 choices of rice and noodles, pork with black bean, etc. so plenty of chioce. Everything was made from really fresh ingredients and was not at all greasy or gloopy. All in all a really lovely experience. HIghly recommend it.
