Bank Holiday Monday 27 May moves all the week's recycling and rubbish collections one day later than usual, including Friday's pick-ups on Saturday 1 June. Recycling site timetables are unchanged so all sites are open Saturday 8am-4pm, Sunday 8am-1pm and Bank Holiday Monday 8am-7pm.

A mother and daughter have completed a sponsored swim for a charity close to their heart. Debra Poole and her daughter Emmanuelle, 11, of Tytherington, near Frome, took part in the Marie Curie Swimathon at Bradford on Avon leisure centre.
