Where do you find information about school closures in the Frome area?

Each school will have information available on its website. Here is a list of Somerset schools websites, where you can find all the First School websites.

The three main schools are here - Oakfield, Selwood & Frome Community College.

Here is the arrangement set out for Oakfield School - Bad weather arrangements : IN THE EVENT OF REALLY BAD WEATHER THE SCHOOL MAY HAVE TO CLOSE.  ALL UPDATES WILL BE POSTED ON THIS WEBSITE AS SOON AS WE POSSIBLY CAN LET YOU KNOW.  DECISIONS WILL BE MADE IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER LOCAL SCHOOLS AND ADVICE FROM SCHOOL TRANSPORT.  WE WILL ALWAYS MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO REMAIN OPEN.

Written advice has been given to Frome school children. If your child catches the school bus and the school is open but the coach does not arrive after a 15 minute wait, one person should try to ring the school to find out if there is a change in the arrangement.
