So we have all heard about the MASSIVE cuts about to take place in Somerset and Mendip councils, including the

redundancy of over 1,500 council workers, the closure of lots of our neighbouring town's libraries ... where will this madness all stop, surely Frome is safe?
Maybe not
Apparently the review on libraries is ongoing and to loose it would be devastating, Frome Library is a stunning example of how a decent library should be run, with a decent stock of books on local history and culture and a perfect kids section.
The council are urging you join this group http://www.facebook.com/#%21/group.php?gid=135912559786482">http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=135912559786482 and keep up to date with developments.
I am ready to stand and protest, this library can not close, will you join me?
