URGENT HELP!! Look for knife man

The entire town is buzzing with the story of what happened in Halfords this weekend, and we at Frome People are joining the hunt to find a knifeman, who threatened staff on Saturday!

The incident happened at 2pm, when a

man, believed to be in his 30s, was suspected of a theft. when the man was challenged by staff he became

aggressive, and the staff feared for their safety and dialled 999.

The agressive man brandished a knife on the way out scaring everyone, The man then left the scene in an S-registration Green Mondeo, later recovered in Melksham.

This is his description - please think long and hard, do you know him? have you seen him?

The

man is described by police as white, in his early 30s, of stocky or

large build, about 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall, with a bald or shaved head.

He had a tattoo on the right side of his neck that was either a word or a sign.

Police have also said he had a distinctive lump on the back of his head, on the left-hand side.

He was wearing a red checked shirt with light blue jeans.

Police also believe the man may have had an accomplice, who they would like to speak to.

He is described as a white man in his early to mid-30s, about 5ft 11 tall, of average build, with short black hair.

He was clean-shaven and wore a blue or black long-sleeved top and dark jeans.

As

part of their enquiries, police would like to speak to anyone who

witnessed a vehicle being driven erratically between 2pm and 2.30pm in

the Halfords and Homebase car park or the surrounding Marston Trading

Estate.
