Communications skills/Lipreading Group


Are you Deaf, hard of hearing, or support someone with a hearing loss?
We offer you the opportunity to gain some really useful skills that may enhance your quality of life.
You can learn lipreading and communication tactics that can help people adapt to using a hearing aid.
You will also have the Opportunity to share problems and coping strategies with others in the same boat
You will gain Information on useful equipment and all issues of deafness including age related hearing loss, tinnitus, balance problems and much, much more.
This is an enjoyable, ongoing rehabilitation group.

The group runs for 30 weeks a year starting on Tuesday September 13th 2011
10 – 12am @ The Meeting Room – Frome Library
