Tales from the Tower: Weave and Spin

In honour of National Storytelling Week, Tales from the Tower presents Weave and Spin. Inspired by Frome's past as a centre of the wool trade as well as the links between storytelling and spinning, weaving and other needlecrafts, this ensemble performance by members of Frome Story Circle will include traditional stories from all over the world which share a connection to the art of making textiles. Come and join us for an evening of tales where cloth is made, and unmade, threads are woven into stories, and the span of a mans' life can depend on the movement of a spinning wheel.
