It's easy to start -it's cheap – it's healthy – you don't need much space. This new 10-week course on Wednesdays 10-12pm starts on 20th February. It will show you how to do it and you could be entitled to a free place if you are on benefits or a low income. You don't need any previous experience of gardening. All you need is a small area such as a windowsill, a space for some containers, a yard or a small garden. Growing your own fruit and vegetables is a great activity to do with your children and good exercise. Tools will be provided. All you have to do is turn up at the Birchill Lane allotments, Keyford, Frome.
