Had a bad day yesterday, went from worse to worse and then my mind made it even worse... it happens as you may well know. I wandered home last night with a heavy head and worry all over. The lovely lady at home helped massively and so this morning wasn't too bad. With me music often sets things in perspective but there are only so many times you can remind yourself of 'always look on the bright side of life' and its exceptionally expressed sentiments, however I didn't really feel like laughing but another song popped into my head. I didn't realise I knew it, as also happens, but when it did I was remembered that a new mate (well hopefully as time goes on) of mine is learning it on Piano. I know it's an American Idol favourite and a little bit un-cool in certain circles, but it says the right stuff and so said the right stuff to me today. I just had a bad day, today is a new one - cheers lovely lady and potential new buddy.
