'Super-fast' broadband for Frome and Shepton Mallet?
Two towns in Somerset are to receive "super-fast" broadband by the end of next year at the latest, BT has said. More than 14,000 homes and businesses in Frome and Shepton Mallet have been included as part of the UK roll-out.

Frome has had super fast broadband for years ... Its called Virgin Media. Its new for BT and other ISP's but not for Frome and larger towns and cities in the UK.

@LoveFrome, its unlikely Mells will get Fibre any time soon. There simply isn't enough properties served by the exchange to make it feasible for any provider to install their equipment in the exchange, hence why is still isn't unbundle so you can't take advantage of cheaper broadband / line rentals from other providers.
