Valentine night in Frome - did you forget to book a table?

Have no fear, there ARE some spaces left in Frome restaurants for 14th Feb. Despite several restaurants being fully booked (don't try The Bell at Buckland, Archangel or The Cornerhouse as they don't have any spaces left) there are tables available and some very tempting menus.

What are you doing on Valentine night in Frome?
Two tables are available for the splendiferous offerings at The Settle - 8 courses for £34, to include canapes, terrine of confit of chicken, sea bass, champagne sorbet, guinea fowl with tarragon sauce & passion fruit panacotta. See the write up from someone who ate there last year here.
If you want a bargain then try the Horse & Groom at East Woodlands where they can squeeze you in at a mere £5 per head, to include pork then passion fruit cheesecake. The Talbot is serving its a la carte menu and has tables. Balti Delight on The Bridge still has tables available. The Olive Tree has a full menu on offer, with special set menus at £18 and £22 per head. Just outside Frome the Bay Leaf has places and The Woolpack in Beckington has its log fires at the ready and is offering 3 courses for £19.95 and The Vobster is well worth a try with some very fine dishes on offer.
Happy Valentine Day!
