Frome People statistics & ideas

Hi, I'm a Frome data-mad tweeter helping out on Frome People. Did you know that there are 640 people registered on here? And there were 35 new users in June 2011 alone (hint, if you go to the drop-down menu & hit 'News' then 'Local People' you can see them all). Frome People on twitter currently has 662 followers & follows 524 people, most of them Fromies. If you don't know anything about twitter & why it might be useful to you, check out the article here.

A bit of info for you on this site, a typical 12 day period at the beginning of May saw over 3000 visits to the site. Most viewed at that time were the IfF landslide (800 views) & the Cockey lamp article (582), with the Artisan Market pictures being viewed over 450 times.

On twitter, Frome People curates several 'lists' of Frome businesses and organisations. These include churches, artists (9 currently), eateries, politicians & more. If you want to see all the lists go here.  If you aren't on there & think you should be then send us a message on twitter & you will be added. You can follow individuals or even follow the whole list. Get pertinent information about your areas of interest from people you know. That's how it works!
