Frome should have its own Bank of Dave

If you watched this programme it showed how one man founded a local bank which lent to local people and business and took deposits from local people and paid interest on it. Any profits went to charity.
We need this sort of community bank which serves local people and local businesses keeping profits in our area and does not take risks with our money like the large banks did.

The government is now easing the rules on setting up banks so we could have a "Bank of Dave " in Frome

ReportMendip is too big an area we need a community bank which takes care of the people and businesses of Frome primarily. This focus would give priority to helping Frome.
