Battle of the Bands in Frome

On Saturday night the Wheatsheaves in Frome hosted the annual Battle of the Bands contest. The venue was packed to the limit with Frome music-lovers. After watching the knock-out contest the winners were finally announced around 2.30am in the morning!

The last four contestants were singer songwriter Al O'Kane, diva Gerry Love, the drummer 'Dunk' & female duo 'Decibelles'.

The performances were each very different, an eclectic mix, but the final announcements agreed that………. in fourth place we have 'Decibelles', …… in third place we have 'Dunk',…. in second place is our local lad, Al O'Kane & the winner is…… the magnificent 'Jerry Love'!
